Diabetic recipes are an important addition to the diabetic diet of a person suffering from diabetes. Diabetes is a very common disease now a day. It is primarily caused due to the incapability of pancreas to form insulin in the body. So a diabetic diet always aims at keeping the insulin level normal by removing extra fat deposition in the body and also providing essential proteins and vitamins to the body. There are few recipes which dieticians recommend for diabetes for they are able to provide essential minerals to the body and keep the body insulin at normal levels. These recipes also maintain a constant blood pressure level and reduce cholesterol in the body. Here we will discuss about some of those recipes.


A list of rapid and effortless Diabetic Recipes:
Soup: This recipe adds nutrition as well as taste to your diet. The ingredients required to prepare this recipe are 3 cups of chicken potage, half a cup of green onions, half tablespoon each of ginger and garlic, few cloves, peppers, noodles, half a cup of boiled chicken, soy sauce, spice powder, 2 and half cups of bok choy and 2 cups of water. Initially make a paste of ginger and garlic. Now mix the chicken, peppers and bok choy and smash them together. Boil the noodles for few minutes and split them. Now mingle water, spice powder, ginger and garlic paste, soy sauce and chicken broth in a big pan and boil them. Now add the smashed bok choy and bell peppers to the boiling blend. Cook for some time and then add chicken and the noodles to the pan. Now put in salt and pepper and dish up hot.


Diabetic Apple Dessert: Apples are fruits which are very rich in fibers and vitamins. Adding apples to your diet diminishes blood cholesterol level in the body. This is a common impediment related to diabetes. So why not use apples as a recipe. Take around 4 cups of apple pieces (peeled), half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, half a cup of alternative for sugar, half a cup of all purpose flour and spices to taste. And a teaspoon of baking soda, half a cup of oatmeal, and half a cup of margarine are required for topping. Take a big bowl and mix all the ingredients together- Flour, apple, sugar alternative, spice and cinnamon to make an apple filling. Mix well and now remove the mixture to a cake pan. Switch on the oven to preheat to around 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Now mix all the constituents of topping all together- flour, margarine, oatmeal, baking soda and cinnamon. Add this mixture over the apple filling. Now bake at the same temperature in the oven for around 15 minutes. Now lessen the temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and bake until the topping becomes a light brown color. Now your apple crisp is all ready to serve warm.


Spaghetti: This is another recipe which can also be added to your diabetic diet plan. Ingredients required are 8 ounces of spaghetti, 3 tablespoon each of cheese and olive oil, 1 and half cups of basil leaves, garlic, half a cup of pine nut and pepper and salt to taste. Steam the spaghetti according to the directions given on the packet. Toast the fine nuts, hack the garlic to make a paste and wash the basil leaves carefully after plucking away the stems. Now mix all other ingredients excluding the spaghetti and put them in a blender. Blend them thoroughly to prepare a sauce. Now place the cooked spaghetti in a serving bowl and decant the sauce over it. The recipe is ready to be eaten now.


Pumpkin Muffins: This is a tasty as well as essential dish for diabetes patients. All you need is half a cup of canned pumpkin, half a cup of milk, one egg yolk, a ripe banana, a tablespoon of brown sugar, raisins, spice and salt to taste. Preheat the oven to around 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Flippantly scatter 5 cups of a normal muffin container with cooking spurt. Fill the 6th cup halfway with water. Now blend all other ingredients except the raisins in a blender. Mix the raisins now and slowly put the blend into the 5 ready muffin cups. Bake for around 45 minutes and cool it before serving. It tastes good when served after refrigerating for a week.
